What do we think to the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3?
When we were researching for a travel system I actually find it quite hard to come along reviews as such so I wanted to post mine on the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3 in the hopes it will help future parents. So here's an insight and my thoughts on this pushchair.

What do you get?
You get the complete package for a travel system, this included everything you need from a infant to a toddler. This includes a carry cot which transforms when you get to 6 months and a car seat with an Isofix base.

Alongside this Ickle Bubba have also included rain covers, changing bag, travel changing mat, seat liner, pushchair warmer, car seat for warmer and 2 x car window sun visors.

Customisation
I loved that we could customise the look of the Stomp which included choosing the colour of the chassis, handles and the overall colour of this pushchair. We went with a silver chassis, brown handles and light grey. (I do have an obsession with grey I am not going to lie) plus I wanted something that was neutral yet classic.

What's good about this travel system is the ability to swap and change very quickly as you have the option to use the carrycot which is nice and sturdy and is fab from birth as it lies flat. The only complaint I have here is the mattress is not as thick as I would of liked it to be but with some extra padding it will be perfect. I'm also a little wary that there are no straps, but after researching a lot of carrycots and this seems to be the case with most? If your'e looking for convenience the car seat also easily attaches the the chassis making it super easy to move your baby from the car to the base itself. Both parts are easily attachable and detachable with a few clicks which is perfect for everyone.

Once your baby reaches 6 months you can change the carrycot to a pushchair which you can use until the age of three years old. So this travel system is well equipped with the 3 different options as a base for your baby/toddler to travel around. As you have you use the frame from the carrycot I have not taken any photos as yet but as soon as our baby transfers to the pushchair mode I will try and post another review for the usage 6 months on!

Car seat
Ross wanted a car seat which came with an Isofix base so this was an added extra when purchasing this travel system. We have found it pretty easy to place the car seat on and off the Isofix base and it will save so much time rather than having to learn how to wrap the seatbelt around it in so many different way to secure it but if this is something you would prefer you can still use the carseat with just a seat belt also.

Overall features
The handle bar is really good as it adjusts to many levels which makes it super accessible for a shorty like me and someone who is taller like my Husband, making the pushing comfortable for a range of heights.

When it comes to folding down the chassis we both found it super easy to put down and to put back up which really puts my mind at ease for when I venture out solo in the future as I needed something simple and easy to be able to put up and down whilst also looking after a baby.

There is a considerable amount of room underneath the pushchair to store a changing bag, shopping or whatever you really desire which is always super handy.

Accessories
Personally I don't think we will use the changing bag provided purely because we had already purchased a beautiful one from Cath Kidston but we are defiantly going to use the sun visors as they will be perfect for the summer!

It's great that a rain cover is included which seems ok, I think this will be something we will have to try out when our little one has arrived to see how well it really does.

Cost
We purchased this travel system back in January 2019 as it was on offer at £399 so we couldn't miss the chance to get such a good deal. We kind of went on a whim as there isn't really anywhere you can see the buggy to try out before buying it but I am so glad we did because when it arrived we were over the moon with our purchase of the Stomp V3.

So if your'e looking for a complete travel system then maybe the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3 could be the one for you. I know we can't wait to start using it for our little girl!
