So for a long time me and my bed haven't been the best of friends, I've struggled to get a decent nights sleep and I kind of got to the point of dreading going to bed at the end of the day because I knew I would just toss and turn all through the night. But that's all changed!

Getting a good nights sleep is important and it also helps me decide how much caffeine I need to consume the next day to be a functional adult. We all know sleep helps our brain to function, helping us learn, pay attention and to make good rational decisions of course. So the lack of sleep was really making me despise bedtime. It's not through the lack of trying, I tried by changing my night-time routine but nothing was really changing my sleeping habits and I never thought that it could be my mattress that was the problem.

I have been dreaming of a new mattress for a long time but I didn't really know where to start. So when Leesa offered to send me one of their mattresses to try out in return for a blog review, I was so excited to see if having a new mattress would make me fall in love with my bed again.

What I liked was how easily I could buy a double mattress directly from the website,  prices start at £399 for a single mattress and shipping is free. I ordered a double mattress which cost £599. A great selling point is the idea of being able to try out the mattress in your own home and if you feel like it's not the one for you you can return it within 100 days. Although I don't think Leesa would receive many returns as the mattress are like are dream come true in my eyes.

I was truly amazed at how the Leesa mattress came in a vacuum packed box. I am still amazed how they manage such things, a double mattress in a box (See the photo of me looking amazed for a representation, what is this sorcery?) Once we placed the mattress onto the bed frame it was like a little magic trick when we took of the outer plastic wrapper it instantly began expanding!

Once we had left the mattress to expand to it's full size after a couple of hours I was so eager to get into bed even if it was only like 4pm in the afternoon? I instantly fell back in love with my bed I just loved the comfort of this new mattress. It also has an amazing level of support that you don't sink into it and you can move freely.
Have I fallen back in love with my bed?

The answer is YES!

I have become that person who wakes up and thinks how long do I have to wait until I can get back into bed. Isn't it magical what a new mattress can do for your sleeping pattern? Ditching the old mattress for a Leesa one has been my answer to a better night's sleep. My new Leesa mattress has made sleep so much more enjoyable but it also made it even harder to leave my bed in the mornings.
